UK invites applications for Chevening TCS Cyber Security Programme

Trivandrum: Applications are invited for the Chevening TCS Cyber Security Programme to be held at the Cranfield University in UK. Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK.

The objective of the Chevening TCS Cyber Security Programme is to enhance participants’ ability to contribute to public policy on cyber security, by providing an understanding of the implications of alternative policy and legislative approaches (for national security, commercial opportunity, crime prevention, and freedom of expression and the right to privacy).

Meanwhile, applications are also invited for the Chevening Rolls-Royce Science and Innovation Leadership Programme (CRISP) to be held at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

The Chevening Rolls-Royce Science and Innovation Leadership Programme (CRISP) is a Fellowship programme funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and Rolls-Royce for 12 mid-career top level people in the field of science and innovation – with links to public policy – in India. It provides funding for three months study on a tailor-made course in the UK.

The objectives of the Programme are to promote the role of science and innovation as a driver of growth and opportunity and forge lasting ties between the UK and India’s future leaders
