Trivandrum: Thiruvananthapuram International Airport has announced its summer schedule with 540 weekly air traffic movements as against the existing 348. The schedule will come into effect from March 27, 2022.
The weekly flight departures from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport to 14 international destinations will increase to 138 from the existing 95. Sharjah tops the with 30 departures. Doha (18), Muscat and Dubai (17 each) are the other prominent destinations. Bangkok, Salala, Hanimadhoo (Maldives) are the new destinations on the list.
The weekly domestic flight departures to 12 destinations will go up to 132 from the existing 79. There will be 28 departures to Bengaluru alone. Mumbai comes second with 23 departures. Kolkata, Pune, Durgapur are the new destinations on the list.
According to a press release from Adani Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Ltd., all arrangements have been made for smooth traffic movement at the Thiruvananthapuram international airport. “Our teams are committed to prioritising the safety and security of our passengers.”
