Trivandrum: Hilton Garden Inn Trivandrum, a premium property in the capital city, is hosting ‘Ocean on the Plate’, a seafood promotion at their fine-dine Garden Grille restaurant. The ten-day seafood festival gives the foodies a chance to enjoy a wide variety of tasty dishes from the Malabar Coast including some select seafood salads and curries.

We have curetted the menu in such a way that everyone enjoys seafood – it’s a complete seafood menu, starting from salads to grill station to pizza. Our guests can get customised marinations as per their taste like southern spice, chilly garlic, Asian lime, paprika chilli and herb crushed flavours or even Tandoor style. The buffet includes delicious fresh seafood grills like prawns, sardines, pearl spot, snapper, sardines, kingfish, crabs and so on. Some of the highlights of the opening day included Som Tum Shrimp salad, Masala Kozhuva Salad, Calamari Salad, and in the main course, it was Malabar fish curry and roasted crab. As usual, there was an elaborate spread of desserts and sweets including some local delicacies like Elaneer payasam and rice payasam.
The dinner-only buffet is priced at Rs.1,399+ Taxes for adults and at Rs.799 + Taxes for kids. The ‘Ocean on the Plate’ promotion which started yesterday concludes on November 18, 2018.
