Hilton Garden Inn Trivandrum hosts Rajasthani food fest


Trivandrum: Hilton Garden Inn Trivandrum has launched a new food promotion featuring Rajasthani cuisine at their Garden Grille restaurant. The ‘Nawabi Khana’ promo is an opportunity for foodies in the capital city to taste out the delicious and exquisite delicacies from the desert State.

Shinu Paul, Marketing Coordinator, Hilton Garden Inn Trivandrum said, “This is the first promotional event in this new year and we have lined up a series of such promotions every month that would feature domestic and international cuisines from various regions. I am sure our customers and in-house guests would like them. It’s an opportunity for them to savour the taste of different places.”

Giving details about the menu, Gopinath V, Executive Chef, Hilton Garden Inn, Trivandrum said, “The Nawabi Khana offers a sneak peek into the Rajasthani Cuisine with its traditional flavours and recipes. The menu changes every night and there are a lot of options in vegetarian dishes to explore. Today we have Mint Jaljeera or Thandai as the welcome drink and Rajasthani tawa panner, Lasooni murgh and Rampuri machi for starters. For the main course, it’s Missi or Bajre ki roti, Jodhpuri Pulav, Daal – Baati – Choorma, Aaloo kadhu ki sabzi, Paneer jaipuri, Khatta meetha karela and Gatte ki kadi for vegetarians. For non-veg, we have Dahi murgh and Lal maas. There is a large collection of achaars and murabbas as add-ons for spicing up the food. For the final dessert, there is a choice of Atta ka churma, Soan papdi, Dry fruit rabdi and Moong dal halwa.

The dinner-only buffet is priced at Rs. 1,300+ Taxes for adults and kids buffet is priced at Rs. 650 + Taxes. The food fest concludes on January 24, 2018.
