Hilton Garden Inn, Trivandrum hosts ‘Flavours from the Clay Pot’

Trivandrum: The Garden Grille restaurant at the Hilton Garden Inn, Trivandrum is hosting ‘Flavours from the Clay Pot’, a tandoori food festival. The food promotion as part of their dinner buffet aims to provide the foodies of the capital city a peek into the prominent dishes cooked in the Tandoor (clay oven).

Interacting with Kerala Biz News, Shinu Paul, Coordinator – Sales & Marketing, Hilton Garden Inn, Trivandrum said, “This is our first main food promotion event this quarter. Our previous select food promotional events have been well received by the connoisseurs of fine dining and we expect a good audience for this festival too. Kebabs and Tandoori breads are the highlights of this food fest. We are planning a Sri Lankan food festival later next month.”

Giving details about the menu, Mineesh Mathew, Sous Chef, Hilton Garden Inn, Trivandrum said, “We are expanding our daily buffet with a wide variety of speciality tandoori breads and different tandoori recipes. There will be a selection of three non-vegetarian and three vegetarian kebabs. Chicken, Fish, Mutton and Beef would make up the non-vegetarian fare. Apart from the regular Tandoori Roti, Naan, Laccha Paratha and Kulcha, there will be speciality flatbreads like Sheermal and Bakarkhani. Stuffed naans like Kheema naans and veg-cheese naans will also be on offer. There will be tandoori based curries to go with the main course. Tandoori based vegetarian dishes are also given equal importance in our menu which will change daily. There will be one Paneer dish and one veg dish. The guests will have too many choices and it will be a memorable experience.”

The dinner only buffet is priced at Rs. 1,199 + Taxes and will conclude on April 30, 2017.
