Kochi: In a significant move that will help the general public and especially those on the move in Kerala using the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses, Federal Bank plans to install its ATMs at 77 KSRTC bus stations across the State.
KSRTC Bus stations are one of the thickly frequented places and through this arrangement, the Bank envisages to spread the message of carrying comfort rather than cash, while commuting.
In a function held at Attingal KSRTC bus station, Varghese K I, Chief General Manager & Network 1 Head of Federal Bank exchanged a memorandum of understanding in this regard with Antony Chacko, Chairman & Managing Director of KSRTC in the presence of Shri A K Saseendran, Minister for Transport, Government of Kerala.
The first ATM under the tie up at Attingal KSRTC bus stand was later inaugurated by the Transport Minister.
Shri B Satyan, MLA of Attingal; M Pradeep, Municipal Chairman, Attingal; and Paul N K, DGM & Zonal Head, Federal Bank, Thiruvanathapuram were among those present on the occasion.
