Kochi: Kalyan Developers, the sister concern of Kalyan Jewellers has announced that it will be investing Rs. 300 crores as part of its expansion plan in Kerala. The company has made a foray into the capital city and launched three new residential projects in Thiruvananthapuram at Pettah, Kudapanakunnu and NH Bypass.
Kalyan Developers will also add five new residential projects in Kochi, Kottayam and Thrissur. The company will invest Rs. 300 crore for the eight new projects with a cumulative development area of 10 lakh sq. ft. Presently the company has 6 lakh sq. ft. of ongoing and completed residential projects in the State.
Kalyan Centrum at Pettah and Kalyan Sapphire at Kudapanakuunu will be launched this month with nearly 100 apartments on offer, whereas Kalyan Avanti at NH Bypass will be launched before the end of this year.

Meanwhile, Kalyan Jewellers has signed an agreement with Habitat for Humanity India, a non-profit organization to build 2,000 new homes for low income, marginalized families in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Kalyan Jewellers has committed Rs. 20 crore towards this initiative as part of its endeavours to support the communities in which it operates its business.
