Tata Elxsi incub@TE programme enrols its first start-up


Bangalore: Tata Elxsi, India’s leading design company, has signed on Big V Telecom for incub@TE – its recently launched incubation centre programme to nurture and support aspiring start-ups.

Big V is an emerging tech start-up that offers customized Business Telephony Solutions for businesses and consumers. It has already deployed its solutions in select regions in India, and is looking to scale its presence across India and the global market.

Big V has been the recipient of the ‘Most Innovative franchise business in the service sector’ by BIG Research in partnership with NDTV Profit; ‘Most Innovative Managed Services’ during Aegis Graham Bell Awards 2012; and ‘Business Excellence Awards’ by the Institute of Economic studies.

Big V telecom is founded and led by Keshor Daga, a well-recognized entrepreneur and recipient of the Udyog Ratan Award and India Business Leadership Award. The incubation agreement was signed between Madhukar Dev, MD & CEO, Tata Elxsi and Keshor Daga.

Speaking on the occasion, Madhukar said, “Incub@TE helps start-ups create sustainable businesses that can scale, by providing them with the required infrastructure, mentoring and market visibility. Tata Elxsi welcomes Big V into our incubation programme.”

The Tata Elxsi incub@TE programme has been set up to foster entrepreneurial activities in the technology space. The company provides a platform for start-ups and prospective entrepreneurs to convert their ideas into commercially viable products or services. It also helps take ideas to the market real fast by providing ready-to-use infrastructure, key technical consulting through in-house experts, mentorship, access to service providers, plug-n-play office and connections with people and organizations who matter. This enables the start-ups associated with the programme get better visibility and an association that brings trust in their target market.
