SBT hands over Rs. 31.5 lakhs dividend warrant to Kerala Govt.


Trivandrum: State Bank of Tranvancore (SBT) has paid a dividend of Rs. 31.5 lakhs to the Kerala Government. C R Sasikumar, Managing Director of the Bank called on Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala and handed over a cheque of Rs. 31,50,000/- being the annual dividend for shares of the Bank held by Government of Kerala.

There are very few public sector institutions, which pay regular dividend to the Government of Kerala, and uniquely SBT is the only Bank to do so. State Bank of Travancore is the only Public Sector Bank headquartered in Kerala to issue a dividend warrant to the State.

S Adikesavan and M K Bhattacharya, Chief General Managers of SBT were also present on the occasion.
