SUT partners Asset Homes to develop residential & healthcare infrastructure

Trivandrum: SUT Hospital, a leading hospital under Dubai based BR Life Group, and Asset Homes, a leading builder, have joined hands to transform Pattom in Thiruvananthapuram into a centre for healthy living of international standards.

As a first step, Sunil Kumar V, MD of Asset Homes, exchanged MoUs with Sudhakar Jayaram, MD of SUT Hospital, for the development of two acres of prime property at the hospital premises for expanding healthcare infrastructure and also for an upmarket ‘sky villas’ project.

Interacting with media, Sunil expressed his happiness at teaming up with SUT Hospital for developing the limited edition signature sky villas named ‘The Grand Courtyard of Travancore.’ The project, spread on an acre, would have 75 sky-villas on a 15+2 Basement level building. Individual villas would be in the 2,000 – 3,000 sq. ft. range and will be priced in excess of Rs.10,000 per sq. ft. “The project would set a new benchmark in luxury living in Indian real estate sector and will be ultimate in terms of location, architecture, design and luxury.”

The project with an investment of Rs.200 crores will be launched in about two months and is expected to be completed in 30 months.

Giving details about healthcare infrastructure, Sudhakar said, “The plan is to expand the current healthcare facility in Pattom to include a state-of-the-art comprehensive Cancer care centre, an organ transplant centre and a new OPD block spread over one acre land. We are happy to associate with Asset Group, the builders with a proven track record for delivering projects on time, to develop healthcare infrastructure facilities, in addition to promoting the luxury residential project.”

BR Life network of hospitals, owned by Dr. B R Shetty, Chairman of NMC Healthcare and UAE Exchange, made its debut in Kerala by acquiring its flagship hospital, SUT Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, in 2013. Today, SUT has come a long way and has made visible progress over the last three years and is now on its way to expanding its capacity from 220 beds to 350 beds.

Asset Homes has completed and delivered 43 projects in nine years since inception. The builder has 25 ongoing projects in 10 cities across Kerala.
