XOLO launches Q Series Smartphones in Kerala

Kochi: Smartphone makers XOLO has launched its Q series in Kerala. The company launched the Q600, Q700 and Q800 in the series and has tied up with the Kochi based Aldous Glare Trade and Exports (AGTE) for distribution in the State.

The three gadgets are priced at Rs. 8999, Rs. 9999 and Rs. 11550 rupees respectively and caters to the middle to high end demands for smartphones.

In a statement, Rohant Shyam, BU Operations Head – XOLO said, “The Smart Phone market in Kerala is growing exponentially and has breached one lakh devices a month. Placing the right quality products in the right price range, we aim to harness this market and to capture around five percent of the total market share soon”.

All the three, the Q600, Q700 and Q800 have 1.2 Giga Hertz Quad core processors and 4 GB internal memory, expandable to 32 GB. The Q600 comes with a 512 MB RAM while the Q700 and Q800 are fitted with 1 GB RAM.

The Q series come with 4.5 inch display screens with the Q700 and Q800 having five finger supported screen of 540×960 resolution. The batteries have standby times of approximately 350 hours with talk times ranging from 10 to 17 hours depending on different modes.

All three versions run the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System and are equipped with front and rear cameras. While the Q600 and Q700 have five megapixel cameras, the Q800 crosses over to eight megapixels. The Q700 and Q800 have 720p HD video recording and burst modes.

XOLO has successfully launched advanced and premium smartphones in India since its inception a year ago. XOLO Q series products are available at all leading retail outlets and stores across Kerala.

Xolo service is aligned with AGCARE, subsidiary division of AGTE and the facility is available in most of the districts across Kerala.
