Kochi: Synthite Industries, the city based global leader in value-added spices, has bagged the ‘Strong Commitment to HR Excellence Award’ instituted by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
At the sixth National CII HR Excellence Award function held recently in New Delhi; Ninan Philip, Director – Human Resources and M R Rajesh Kumar, Vice President – HR received the award from V S Oberoi, Secretary, Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.
Synthite is the first Kerala based organisation to receive this award. The award committee has made a thorough evaluation of Synthite’s commitment to human resources strategy, learning and development, employee engagement and HR processes.
In his comments, Ninan said, “It’s a proud moment for Synthite to receive this prestigious national award. Our HR department has been trying to build a culture of excellence and inclusiveness in all our people processes which we believe will go a long way in making us a globally admired brand.”

Synthite Industries is an oleoresin extraction firm, supplying ingredients to the major food, fragrance and flavour houses. The company produces oleoresin spices, essential oils, food colours, and sprayed products. It also has products that are organic and fair-trade.
