SBT appoints K T Ravindran as new Internal Ombudsman


Trivandrum: State Bank of Travancore has announced the appointment of retired State Bank of India General Manager, K T Ravindran as the Chief Customer Service Officer (Internal Ombudsman). He will be based at SBT’s Head Office in Thiruvananthapuram.

The new position of CCSO has been created within the Bank, as per RBI guidelines, with a view to independently look into the customer complaints and to strengthen the internal grievances redressal mechanism.

In his 35 years of service with SBI, Ravindran has held several important assignments in India and abroad. He was the Executive Director and COO of SBI Mutual Funds, Mumbai before taking up the present assignment.
