Kochi: Hrishikesh Nair, a product of UDCT, Mumbai and an alumnus of IIT, Kharagpur, has taken charge as the new Chief Executive Officer of Infoparks under the Department of IT, Government of Kerala. Hrishikesh will be responsible for the growth of the main hub at Infopark, Kochi and its spokes at Koratty and Cherthala.
Before taking over his new role, Hrishikesh was with the US-based Sherwin Williams where he was helping the company in standardizing the IT footprint and extending the eBusiness solution for the company worldwide. During his 15 year career span, he has also worked with Oracle, Infosys and Marico Industries, among others.
He joins Infopark with rich and diverse global experience in Global ERP, Portfolio Management, IT Governance, Partner engagement, and Contract negotiations; Risk management and Budgetary control; Business Process Re-engineering and Change management and Talent hiring, building and leading high performance IT project teams.
In his comments, Hrishikesh Nair said, “I am very excited to be part of Infopark. My task here is challenging especially with the exponential growth Kerala has been projecting in the IT sector in the last few years. The State’s efforts are recognised worldwide in the industry and my job is to sustain the interest and establish Kerala and Infopark as the most chosen IT destination for the global market”. His immediate priorities would be the timely completion of the 4 lakh sq.ft. facility in Infopark, Kochi, and the 2.5 lakh sq.ft. facility at Infopark, Cherthala.
Hrishikesh took charge from Gigo Joseph, whose appointment as CEO in 2011 was mired in controversy, later ending with a vigilance case.
