Uber expands its service to Trivandrum


Kochi: In line with its aggressive expansion plans in India, the American transportation network company, Uber has today launched in four more cities including Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, taking the total to 22 cities in India. The service was launched earlier in Kochi.

Uber launched in India less than two years ago. Today, India is the largest geographic market for Uber after the United States. With its current base of over 150,000 driver entrepreneurs and continued robust 40 percent month on month growth, Uber has quickly gained significant market share in India of over 35 percent.
