Trivandrum: State Bank of Travancore, the tech savvy Bank has added a Mobile ATM to its network of ATMs in the capital city to deliver cash on wheels. The Bank, due to its long tradition of trust, has always cared to deliver value additions to its customers with varied and novel banking products and services.
Jeevandas Narayan, Managing Director of SBT inaugurated the Mobile ATM and flagged off the ATM van at a function held at the Bank’s Head Office in Poojapura. The first transaction was done by E K Harikumar, Chief General Manager (Retail Banking).
According to a press note from the Bank, the user-friendly SBT Mobile ATM moves from place to place in the city, delighting the customer base. The Mobile ATM also serves as an Information Kiosk to public to know about banking products and services. SBT has delivered this Independence Day gift to the citizens of Thiruvananthapuram City and brought banking facility to their door steps. Safe and swift banking is delivered for the convenience of general public through Mobile ATM. SBT ATM now becomes the touch point of masses enhancing customer delight and satisfaction.
With the launch of Mobile ATM, SBT has added one more ATM to its network of 1,632 ATMs linked to State Bank Group ATM network, the largest ATM network in the country. The ATM is installed in a mobile air-conditioned van equipped with uninterrupted power, CCTV and guarded security with satellite connectivity.
The Mobile ATM will be functioning from 7 am to 10 pm on all days. It moves from place to place and will be stationed at Secretariat North gate, Kowdiar, Medical College, RCC, Museum, Thampanoor Bus and Railway stations, East Fort, West Fort near Padmanabhaswamy Temple etc.
