Trivandrum: Corporate Relations Institute, the training arm of Corporate Relations will conduct a national seminar on ‘Combating Cyber Crimes & Maintaining Email Etiquette @ Workplace’ on June 27, 2013 in Thiruvananthapuram.
Designed as a comprehensive learning platform equipping participants to safeguard against being victims of possible cyber crimes, the seminar will educate the participants on the need for adherence to an email policy at the organizational level. It will also create awareness on a protocol to be observed by employees while sending emails from workplaces.
Bharati Iyer, Corporate Trainer and Dhanya Menon, Cyber Crime Investigator, both having ample, hands-on experienced in their respective domains shall be the faculties for the seminar. The participants will get educated on minimizing the risks of cyber attacks, the need for adherence to an email policy and also the protocol to be observed by employees while sending emails from workplaces.
According to a release, attending the seminar will help participants in fighting cyber crimes by explaining types of cyber crimes, hacker methodologies, how to report cyber crimes, employee-employer rights & liabilities etc., exampled with case studies. It will help to gain knowledge on measures to be taken to combat cyber crimes and minimize liabilities of being victimized on cyber issues; the need for an email policy in your organization, whether sending an e-mail is necessary or not, how to write effective emails & subject lines, avoid misconduct etc.
The seminar is open for all those exposed to the cyber world including employees in governments, corporates, academe, NGOs and industry, besides content developers & consultants.
