KINFRA instrumental in promoting industries in Kerala: CM

Trivandrum: The Chief Minister, Shri Oommen Chandy has said that the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) has been a success story and had played a major role in promoting medium and small scale industries in the State.

The CM said this while inaugurating the 22nd KINFRA Day celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram. “Kerala was one of the leading states when it came to medium and small-scale industries. Now it is very hard to get land with all infrastructure for starting industries as land costs have gone up and this is where KINFRA can develop parks for promoting industry. KINFRA has to come up with more parks to help industrial development”, he added.
