CII to organise India MSME Summit 2012 at Kochi


Kochi: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with the Department of Industries, Government of Kerala is organizing ‘India MSME Summit 2012’ with a theme ‘Growth, Opportunities & Challenges’ on December 22, 2012 at Kochi. The event will feature Conference, Exhibition & Buyer – Seller Meet on ‘Growth of MSMEs: Opportunities & Challenges’.

According to a communiqué from CII Kerala, the objective of the summit is to enable MSMEs to become more efficient. Government & industry leaders and renowned experts from across India will be addressing on the various focused topics such as – Exploring Business Opportunities via Information & Communication Technology, Financial Empowerment of MSMEs, the Benefits of International Linkages, Sourcing Opportunities etc. Furthermore there is an Exclusive session with various successful entrepreneurs.

The one-day Conference is expected to see about 700 participants which include Entrepreneurs, Managing Directors, Chief Executive Officers, Plant Managers, Managers from purchase, Production, Quality, Marketing, HRD, Finance, Corporate Planning from MSME segment, besides others comprising of officials from Government departments, Bilateral / multilateral agencies, Financial institutions,  Academic institutions,  Consulting firms, and cluster level industry associations from various sub-sectors across India.

The summit comprises of Exhibition, Procurement / Buyer – Seller Meet, Structured B2B and B2G Meetings, three Plenary sessions, and a Panel Discussion on Affordable IT Solutions for MSMEs, How to Finance your business, International business opportunities for MSMEs and Experience sharing session with Successful Entrepreneurs.
