Keltron bags Rs. 3.41 crore order from BHEL


Trivandrum: Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (KELTRON) has received an order worth Rs. 3.41 Crores for the supply of Pneumatic Actuators from M/s. BHEL Trichy. This is further to the finalization of extension of their rate contract with the company for one year which is renewable again.

These items are for 4 x 600 MW OP Jindal Super Thermal Power Project of Jindal Power at Raigarh, 2 x 600 MW DB Super Thermal Power project of DB Power at Gurgaon, 3 x 660 MW Bara Super Thermal Power project of Prayagraj Power Generation Company, 1 x 600 MW JPL Seoni Thermal Power project of Jhabua Power, 3 x 500 MW Vallur Thermal Power project of NTPC – Tamil Nadu Energy Company, 2 x 250 MW Barauni Thermal Power project of Bihar State Electricity Board, 2 x 520 MW Vizag Thermal Power project of Hinduja National Power Corporation.

The Pneumatic Actuators shall be manufactured at the Keltron Controls division of KELTRON at Aroor in Alappuzha District. The Keltron Controls division has been supplying Pneumatic Actuators for use in the Power Boilers for the last thirty years and is the leading supplier of this item in India. All the major Thermal Power Plants in India are using KELTRON Pneumatic Actuators. All the Power Boiler manufacturers in India viz., BHEL, Alstom, Thermax, ISJEC John Thomson, Siemens and Boiler accessories manufacturers like VOITH, Andrew Yule, etc., are using KELTRON Pneumatic actuators as OEM component.
