Kochi: The latest addition to the much accepted iBall Cobalt series of smartphones, the Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus has been launched in Kerala. The Octacore Solus comes with a mix of the style with the latest in mobile technology with high focus on performance.
Adding more style to the competitive smartphone market, the Solus is extremely slim at just 8 mm and lightweight, while at the same time boasting of a 2250 mAH Li-polymer battery for longer life. Despite its sleek design it boasts of 16 GB internal memory with 2GB ram and an extra durable back glass cover to protect the device. It also meets the shortage of most smartphones by boosting the system with a high end sound amplifier.
The system is run by a 1.4 GHz Cortex A7 advanced Processor driving an Android KitKat 4.4, upgradable to Lollipop. The 5” HD display comes with the latest OGS (One Glass Solution) touch panel, making the touch flawlessly smooth. The Solus has a 13MP AF camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for video calling. The smart camera function allows you to choose between modes such as Live photo, face beauty, panorama, face detection, smile shot and v capture, effortlessly. The storage function of the phone compliments the high density camera with the 16GB internal memory being expandable to 32 via micro SD.
Coming at a best buy price of Rs. 11,249, the Solus had a niche in a very choosy youth group. The Solus adds A-GPS to the normal GPS technology along with dual SIM standby and the latest Bluetooth V4.0+EDR that makes for faster file transfer, thus introducing a whole host of new technology to the smartphone market
