Tata Elxsi wins STPI Karnataka IT Exports Award for 2013

Bangalore: Tata Elxsi, a global design company and part of the $ 100 billion Tata group, was awarded the STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) Karnataka IT Exports award 2013 for the ‘Highest growth in exports – IT / ITeS’ in the Rs. 100 – 500 Crore category for the financial year 2012-13.

The STPI award for IT Exports is recognition of Tata Elxsi’s business excellence in delivering product design and development services for customers across the world in the automotive, broadcast, consumer electronics, telecom and medical devices sectors.

While receiving the award, Madhukar Dev, Managing Director, Tata Elxsi said, “This award is testimony to Tata Elxsi’s focus on innovation, quality and technology. Our customer centric approach and focus on product design and development have enabled our growth in the international market. We thank STPI for recognising the achievements of the company”.

Prabir K Das, Director STPI said, “Karnataka accounts for 39% of total software exports from India. This award has been instituted in recognition of companies like Tata Elxsi, whose consistent performance has led to a tremendous growth in software exports from Karnataka”.
